Animal Communication

Animal Communication aims to enhance understanding and interaction between humans and pets.

To understand our pets' behavior and how they communicate, you must first put yourself in the animal's shoes or paws.

Our approach is grounded in the most current research and scientific findings, which inform us of what animals are communicating to us through different signals, facial expressions, body movements, and vocalisations, and show us how we can adjust our own behavior to respond and act in ways that are meaningful to the animal.

Understanding canine communication

Humans and animals alike rely heavily on non-verbal forms of communication, primarily through body language. This silent language is rich with meaning and can convey a wide range of emotions and intentions. However, just as in human relationships where misunderstandings can arise, the same can occur in the interactions between humans and animals. Misinterpreting these non-verbal cues can lead to confusion and miscommunication.

To foster effective communication, it is essential for us not only to recognise and interpret the body language of both ourselves and the creatures around us but also to learn how to respond appropriately with our own body language. By honing our skills in reading these silent signals, we can create more meaningful connections, enhance our understanding, and ultimately improve our interactions with both fellow humans and animals.

FurryMed's approach to animal communication

All of our methods are proven to be highly effective. We work with general behaviour problems that your pet may experience including repetitive behaviours, separation issues, problems with visitors, anxieties and phobias and general mood changes.

We focus on the animals and tend to work with pets displaying behavior problems. We can recognize how and why your pet’s behavior is abnormal or changed and can effectively teach you how to understand and work with your pet. In addition, we spend time counseling humans about the way they interact with their pets.
